Williams Sound Pocketalker® 2.0
Personal Amplifier Assistive Listening Device Model: PKT 2.0 |
One-on-one conversations • Small-group listening • Television listening •
Conversations in the car • Counter service for government, banks, and pharmacies • Nursing Homes • Restaurants • Medical appointments |
The Williams Sound Pocketalker® 2.0 is a personal amplifier with stereo headset compatibility and an external tone control. It makes one-on-one or small group conversations clearer. It can be used to amplify the volume on your television, stereo, or radio. The Pocketalker® 2.0 has a t-coil so it can be used to connect with counter or room loop systems to hear better in noise or at a distance. By switching the t-coil on, you can use this personal amplifier in venues that have loop systems to better hear a concert or religious service. With the t-coil on, the only sound you hear is the sound from the microphone or presenter, not all the background noise. It can also be used with a neckloop (purchased separately) to connect with a hearing aid or cochlear implant with a t-switch. This would be helpful with distance or in a noisy situation to deliver sound from the microphone of the personal amplifier directly to the hearing aid or cochlear implant (such as in a car or at a restaurant).

(1) amplifier (1) 2 AAA batteries (1) TV listening extension cord (1) plug- in mount mic (allows mic to be handheld or placed near a speaker at a distance) (1) 2 sets of headsets: earbuds & over the head headset |
